Peach Blossom Stream

Peach Blossom Stream Scenic Area is located at the south foot of Jinping Mountain in Haizhou. It covers an area of 4.5 square kilometers and is divided into east and west parts. In the east part, there are thirty-six scenic spots, which are composed of rock paintings, stone carvings, strange rocks, quiet stream, pond of dragon, caves, and ancient temples. In the west part, there are paleolithic site of the Stream, stone carvings culture and art park, and Rock Paintings of Jiangjun Cliff with a history of 7000 years. Known as the Eastern Book of Heaven, the Rock Paintings of Jiangjun Cliff is the oldest rock paintings found in China, the first found in the southeast coastal area, and the only that reflect the original worship of primitive agricultural tribes.
