Among them, the growth rate of tourist reception at 4A-rated scenic spots reached 99.4%. The city's cultural and tourism market has seen a surge in popularity, with online positive review rates ranking fourth in the province.

At the opening ceremony of the 2025 Fourth "Spring in Huaguo Mountain" Flower Appreciation Season, classic scenes from the 1986 version of "Journey to the West" were vividly brought to life by actors, reawakening nostalgic memories and the spirit of the journey among visitors. Since March, cultural and tourism activities have continued to unfold at various scenic spots and streets in the city, with highlights appearing frequently. The Yulan King in Donglei, plum blossoms in Huaguo Mountain, and peach blossoms in Taohuajian are in full bloom, attracting tourists to visit and take photos. High-quality literary and artistic works such as Lao Lang’s concert tour, the plays "Skin" and "Chen Huansheng's Dining Problem" have also been staged at Lianyungang Grand Theatre. The Yanhexiang Sleepless City has kicked off with enthusiasm, and the West Journey Myth and Magic Troupe of Huaguo Mountain has provided endless fun with their performances.

The southeast coastal monsoon has also brought the warmth of spring, and our city's seaside tourism is also thriving. Stall owner Ms. Lu said that there have been many out-of-town tourists recently, with eight out of ten being from other places. She has recently hosted four groups of out-of-town tourists. This popularity is inseparable from the promotions by celebrities such as Yi Nengjing and Xu Yiyang, and the video endorsing his hometown by Xu Zechen, the author of Northbound, which has been viewed over 200,000 times, further enhancing the fame of Donghai crystal.
