Preferential traffic measures for the “May Day” holiday launched in our city offer free rides on four direct buses

In order to welcome the “May Day” holiday, our city has launched preferential traffic measures to provide free rides on four existing tourist direct buses. At the same time, in order to continue to promote the development of cultural and tourism industries in our city, enhance the service function of tourism transportation and improve the efficiency of tourists’ travel, the tourist direct buses with the classic cartoon image of “Sun Wukong the Great Sage” on the body will appear in the city again since April 28th. The newly introduced unique “Sun Wukong the Great Sage” voice service in the bus will also provide announcement and travel services for citizens and tourists.

The tourist direct bus Line 1 operates between Lianyungang Railway Station and Huaguo Mountain Scenic Area, stopping at four stations including Lianyungang Railway Station, Cangwu Green Park, Wanda Plaza and Huaguo Mountain Scenic Area. The interval between buses is 30 to 40 minutes. The departure time at Lianyungang Railway Station is from 7:00 to 17:00, and the departure time at Huaguo Mountain Scenic Area is from 8:00 to 18:30. The tourist direct bus Line 2 operates between Lianyungang Railway Station and Lian Island Scenic Area Tourist Center, stopping at four stations including Lianyungang Railway Station, Civic Square, Shenzhou Hotel, and Lian Island Scenic Area Tourist Center. The interval between buses is 30 minutes. The departure time at Lianyungang Railway Station is from 8:00 to 17:00, and the departure time at Lian Island Scenic Area Tourist Center is from 10:00 to 19:00. The tourist direct bus Line 3 operates between Huaguo Mountain Scenic Area and Lian Island Scenic Area Tourist Center, stopping at four stations including Huaguo Mountain Scenic Area, Huaguo Mountain Hotel, Shenzhou Hotel, and Lian Island Scenic Area Tourist Center. The departure times at Huaguo Mountain Scenic Area are 8:30, 9:30, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 12:30, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 15:30, 16:00 and 17:00, while the departure times at Lian Island Scenic Area Tourist Center are 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 14:30, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00 and 17:30. The tourist direct bus Line 5 operates between Lianyungang Railway Station and Yuwan Bus Terminal, stopping at eight stations including Lianyungang Railway Station, Garden Park, Cangwu Green Park, Tongke Huifeng International, the Municipal Public Transportation Group, Cherry Valley Town, South Entrance of Kongquegou Scenic Area, and Yuwan Bus Terminal. The departure times at Lianyungang Railway Station are 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, 16:00 and 17:00, while the departure times at Yuwan Bus Terminal are 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, 16:00, 17:30 and 18:30.

The Municipal Public Transportation Group specially reminds citizens that they can download the “Smart Lianyungang” APP on their mobile phones to enter the handheld bus timetable system to check the real-time arrival information of the tourist direct buses, or call the service hotline of the Public Transport Group at 0518-85502777 for consultation.
